Work with us

Step1On.jpg

meet & GREET

We are a small family-owned business and pride ourselves on connecting with our clients. The initial meeting is with the owner of Hudson Kitchen + Bath. Nicholas patiently takes the time to listen to the client's needs, discuss how we work, what we do, and what we don’t do. He will review each of our cabinetry lines and countertop options and answer any questions you have so that you leave feeling confident about the next steps of the process.

INFORMATION GATHERING + PRESENTATION

In this next step you will be paired with one of our designers and begin to organize the space and develop a basic schematic layout. This includes developing a floorplan or “footprint” for the overall cabinetry, fixture placement, defining traffic “flow” patterns and establishing the key architectural details in the space. We will also discuss cabinet lines and finish options so that we can work to present you with a schematic design and ballpark pricing. If you are pleased with what we have prepared for you and ready to move forward, it is at this point when we request that our clients retain our services so that we can then begin fine-tuning your design and cabinetry order. The retainer fee is non-refundable; however, it is credited back in full to the client upon ordering cabinetry.

Step 3 On.jpg

design deVELOPMENT

It is at this point that we move forward in more granular detail. Dimensional drawings are developed and shared with our clients, interior layouts and material selections defined, appliances and fixtures confirmed, accessories and hardware selected, and your new kitchen comes into focus.

Step 4 On.jpg

project completion

The design is now finalized, your paperwork prepared, and you are ready to sign off on your cabinetry order. A 50% deposit payment initiates your order with us and the cabinet manufacturer and countertop fabricator. We then work with the manufacturer to make sure everything is right with your order before it goes into production. The homeowner and/or contractor is presented with “Contractor Documents”, these documents include a full set of final plans, appliance specs and an outline of items included for installation. Your order is sent into production with the manufacturer and within a few weeks a delivery “week” is scheduled. Final balance is due to Hudson Kitchen + Bath on or before the delivery of the cabinetry order. At this point your contractor begins installation of your cabinetry. If any questions arise, we are here to assist.
